Client Systems & ECSA
The field of the ECSA (Epic Client Systems Administrator): printing, web services, endpoint and mobile integration, and peripheral technologies.

Germany · Austria · Switzerland
A professional community for the people who run Epic’s client systems, application delivery, databases, analytics and infrastructure across the DACH region.
Independent community. EPIC Infra DACH is run by infrastructure professionals for infrastructure professionals. It is not part of Epic Systems Corporation.
From click to database
When a nurse scans a wristband or a physician opens a chart, the request travels through five layers, from the device to the database. Two more sit beside that path: analytics works from a copy of the data, and the foundation carries everything. Each layer is owned by different specialists. If one of them fails, the ward notices first. The picture is simplified: it shows dependencies, not a network trace.
